About the event
Target Species: Bream.
The river shares its name with a fishing-town A-lister, locally known as the “Bream Capital”. Apart from its abundance of bream, there’s also perch, salmon, and mullet up for grabs. Upstream there’s also flathead, trevally, taylor and luderick. It's no wonder the river hosts regular fishing tournaments.
This is a regular excursion for SPAC and the fishing should be good if the last Estuary competition is any guide. You can either fish from the shore or from a boat.
